HOW TO REALLY GET STARTED AS A BEGINNER!

If you're a beginning guitarist you're probably wondering what most beginning guitarists usually think, 'How do I get started?' Most guitar teachers would try start teaching you how to learn to read music, play open chords or memorize the fretboard or something like that. While those skills are definitely something you should learn at some point in your guitar playing journey (depending on your goals), it is NOT where you should first start! The truth is, if you start there then you'll probably end up feeling bored and unmotivated to ever pick up the guitar again because you "just don't have it." ANYONE can learn the guitar, but we can't start learning things that aren't important RIGHT at this moment.

So then what SHOULD you be doing at this moment if you're a beginner? You should start learning your favorite parts of a song! With the power of the internet you can practically learn anything! Just go to YouTube and search (Song name) Guitar Lesson and boom! You're on your way to learning guitar! The only thing is that you have to make sure the part you're learning is in fact easy, nothing is worse then trying to learn something that turns out to be harder then it sounded! So to avoid this I've made a small list for you to look up on YouTube and get started having fun immediately! These songs are also on YouTube in lessons form so you can definitely get started and NOT have to worry about finding them.

• Deep Purple - Smoke On The Water (Intro)

• Black Sabbath - Iron Man

• Twinkle Twinkle Little Star (Melody)

• Here Comes The Bride (Melody)

• Metallica - Enter Sandman (Intro)

• Metallica - Nothing Else Matters (Intro)

• Metallica - For Whom The Bell Tolls (Rhythm Guitar)

These songs are all very simple songs and are a great way to get started playing, some other things that would help you start learning would to learn how to use tabs, tabs are a very simple for of reading music and isn't as complicated as reading.

If you want to make the fastest possible progress you can on guitar then looking for lessons all over the internet is not going to get you there. You need to be coached, trained, and mentored into becoming the guitar player you want to be! Click here to get started now!
