Have you ever heard things such as “You need to have natural talent in order to learn to play guitar” or “Playing guitar is too difficult and if it doesn’t come to you then it will never come to you.” Well all of these myths are just that .. MYTHS! It is ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE! And I’m going to tell you why.
Have you ever heard of a musician know as Yngwie (Eeng vay) Malmsteen? He is a neoclassical guitar player who is very much know for his high speed guitar playing and intense solos. Yngwie Malmsteen has been quoted with saying that as a teenager who would practice guitar for EIGHT HOURS A DAY! Now why would he have practiced guitar eight hours a day if learning guitar comes naturally to all those who learn? He would have just picked up the guitar, practice a bit and develop his skills in a short period of time. Well this is just very untrue. The truth is is that Yngwie is NOT a naturally gifted guitarist. Just like anyone of us he struggled! He was at where YOU are at today! There was a day when he first got his guitar and just didn’t know what to do with it and he too had to learn how to play his guitar!
Now I am not saying that you too have to practice guitar for eight hours a day in order to become a good or great guitar player, depending on the goals you have, you can become a great guitar player with only a thirty minute schedule if you learn how to create a effective practice schedule. But in order to do this you are going to need a good guitar teacher who is going to walk you through the steps of what you need to learn and how to practice and organize your schedule in order to get the most effective and quickest results possible. If you are ready to get started then check out this page and get the results and reach your goals quicker!
